A busy start to Spring

Date: 5 March 2024 | By: Nick M

BMVC have just completed a number of performances centred on a St David's Day theme.

It started with a visit to Palmerston School, Barry, on 28th February. This was followed by the Tŷ Hafan 25th Anniversary Celebrations on 1st March. Then, on Saturday 2nd March, we did two sets at the Welsh Food Festival at Pugh's Garden Centre, Wenvoe.

After having Sunday off, we paid a visit to Romilly Primary School, Barry, on Monday 4th March. Like the Palmerston School visit, the children were keen to hear about the history and work of the choir. They also joined us in a rousing version of 'Calon Lan'.

We then rounded off this whirlwind weekend with a special rehearsal on Monday evening, with the Friends of Barry Male Voice Choir being invited to sit in. The tea and Welsh Cakes were appreciated by all!

What busy little bees we are!
